Guild

Posted on 15th Oct 2021

The Guild restarted on Wednesday 15 September in the lounge in the Old Parish Centre. Masks, 1-metre distancing, and track-and-trace were necessary, but these small obstacles didn't get in the way of catching up with one another. The Guild is open to all - women and men - and is a great group for learning, fellowship, and service.

The next meeting is on Wednesday 20th October at 2:30pm in the lounge. Tommy Nelson will talk about his experiences growing and judging sweet peas. All welcome!

Future meetings (2:30pm in the lounge):

November 3rd - Mary and David Sinclair speaking about their time in Prague

November 17th - Evan Carrie - Fife Carers - supporting people caring for someone living with dementia

December 1st - Carrie Fox speaking about diet

December 15th - Guild Christmas Lunch

Please contact Eileen Spurr (01334 655 010) for more information.

The Tuesday Café

Posted on 15th Oct 2021

The Tuesday Memory Cafe, for people with dementia and their carers, takes place on the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 2:00pm - 3:30pm in the lounge of the Old Parish Centre. The cafe has been running for about 10 years and offers a wide range of activities as well as information on dementia. It is a very sociable cafe and has been much enjoyed over the years. Our next meeting is on Tuesday 16th November. For further information contact Shena Porteous (01334 653561).
