Prayers 

Please pray for people suffering from severe food shortages, that it will be possible to get emergency supplies to those in most need particularly in places such as Yemen and South Sudan

Pray and let’s give thanks for this new year and let us begin this new year praising God.

Donations: If anyone has been gifted too many biscuits over Christmas, they would be gratefully received at the Old Parish Centre. Also if anyone has a surplus of the bio-degradable bags for food waste they would also be useful in the centre.

Cupar Choral Society resumes its rehearsals on Monday 14th January at 7.30pm in the hall of St John’s Church when work on Brahm’s Requiem will begin. New members for all sections will be most welcome. Further information from the secretary on 656 976.

The Wednesday Café, for people with dementia and their carers, hold their meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 2pm – 3.30pm in the lounge of the Parish Centre. On the 16th January we are looking forward to a Scots Afternoon with entertainment from pupils from Letham Primary School. Please encourage anyone you know who might benefit from this sociable group to come along. Any queries! – contact Shena  (01334 653 561).

Guild, meet on Wednesday 16th January in the afternoon at 2.30pm in the Parish Centre. Topic will be ‘Crime Fiction’ – The Agatha Christie Story  with Colin Moore. Contact Eileen (655 010).

Cupar Youth Group, S2-S6, are meeting at the Old Parish Centre, Wednesday 16th from 7:00-8:30pm for some Bible study, fun and games and snacks; all welcome. For more info contact Hendrick 07944 420 792.
