INTIMATIONS 14th April 2019
Please pray for The World Bank. It is due to announce its new president any day now. Pray that the bank will keep its promises on climate change, and especially to invest more in local, renewable energy.
Please pray for the Easter activities and services during Holy Week and all the ecumenical events taking place in our community.
Copies of Signed Annual Accounts for year ended 31st December 2018 are now available for perusal/collection as you leave the hall today prior to our Stated Annual General Meeting on Sunday 28th April 2019.
The next meeting of the Wednesday Café, for people with dementia and their carers, takes place on Wednesday 17th April from 2pm-3.30pm. We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month in the Old Parish Centre, Short Lane, Cupar. On the 17th we are delighted to have Hugh and Lesley Toner to entertain us. Hugh and Lesley are part of the well known N.E. Fife folk group Forgaitherin who have already produced 2 CDs. Tea, coffee, cake and a chance to chat with other carers at this very sociable café so why not give it a try? Information from Alzheimer Scotland available. As some of you are aware I have a big birthday coming up and to celebrate turning 30 I am doing an abseil off the forth rail bridge for the Chest, Heart and Stroke Charity. The abseil takes place on the 9th of June and if you would like to sponsor me it would be very much appreciated and help the charity greatly. Sponsor sheets will be available through myself, Simon and my mum and dad. Please just see one of us. Thank you for your support and donation Naomi Robertson.
Cupar Churches Children’s Holiday Club The popular summer holiday club for primary school-age children will take place this year at the Old Parish Centre, from Monday 5th – Friday 9th August, in the mornings. We are looking for team members – adults and teenagers – for a wide variety of roles. Please think about whether you would like to help out with this worthwhile (and very enjoyable) mission to the children in our communities.
