PVG Training:  Church of Scotland have stipulated that all volunteers working with vulnerable groups should take part in a short training session, over and above having obtained an appropriate PVG certificate. Training will allow volunteers to fully understand what they should and should not do in their volunteering work and worked examples and discussion will help to guide them should they ever need to put them to practice.  Training sessions have been arranged for Monday 1st May and Thursday 25th May 2017 in the Old Parish Centre at 6.45pm.  Please advise Morag Scott (dandmscott@hotmail.co.uk) as soon as possible to confirm which date you are able to attend or if you have any queries.  Please note that there are limited places so it’s advisable to book a space asap.

Tuesday 23rd May

BT are organising an ‘Around Britain in 80 days’ relay.  The sponsor money for Scotland from this will be split between the TCCL Lodge in St Andrews and Yorkhill Hospital in Glasgow.  George and Jill Brown will be walking from the Tay Bridge to Cupar on Tuesday 23rd May to support  this.  If anyone would like to sponsor us George has a sponsor sheet.
