Welcome to Cupar Old Parish Church

INTIMATIONS     24th February 2019

Please pray for all those people who help us grow as Christians who point the way to be more like Jesus.

Please pray for Venezuela. There are now severe restrictions on getting aid due to a roadblock. Please pray that the blockade is removed and for a peaceful resolution to the crisis in this country.

The annual word search will be available at £1 each in church this and the next couple of Sundays with subject “Cocoa Farmers’ Plight.”

Kilombero rice will be available to purchase after the service.

How will you support Fairtrade Fortnight, 25th Feb – 10th March? Why don’t you join in with the Cupar Fair Trade Town competition. Forms are available through the schools, participating shops and Cupar Library, or contact Margaret for a copy by email at lawrence.margaret22@gmail.com or 07732 972 965. The competition will run until 16th March and entries can be returned to school or boxes in The Lighthouse, Library or County Buildings. The Fairtrade stall will be at The Lighthouse on 7th March.

Enjoy Chocolate? The meeting with the Ivorian cocoa farmer at Castlehill on March 7th has unfortunately had to be cancelled as she has not been granted a visa by the UK government.

Guild: Please note the meeting due to be held on Wednesday 27th has been cancelled. It is hoped the meeting can be arranged for some time next year.
